Releasing Money Blocks
Most of us carry invisible barriers to wealth--beliefs we absorbed in childhood that now operate beneath our conscious awareness. These money blocks silently sabotage our best efforts to create abundance.
Common Money Blocks
"Money is the root of all evil" - This misquote (the actual verse refers to the love of money) creates guilt around wanting financial success.
"Rich people are greedy" - If you believe wealth makes people bad, your subconscious will protect you from becoming "bad" by keeping you broke.
"I don't deserve abundance" - Often rooted in childhood experiences of shame or unworthiness.
"There's never enough" - Scarcity programming passed down through generations.
The Release Process
- Identify - Notice when you feel resistance, fear, or guilt around money
- Trace - Ask yourself: Where did I first learn this belief?
- Question - Is this belief actually true? Is it serving me?
- Replace - Create a new, empowering belief
- Embody - Act as if the new belief is already true
A Simple Clearing Ritual
Write your limiting money belief on paper. Read it aloud, then say: "I release this belief. It no longer serves my highest good. I am open to a new relationship with abundance."
Then safely burn or tear up the paper, symbolizing release.
Reflection: What money story did you inherit from your family? Is it time to write a new one?
